In coming months, the NED University of Engineering and University will lease a new crew of Chinese teachers to maintain physical classes for the Chinese language on campus. NED University Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Sarosh Hashmat Lodi said this on Monday even as speaking to The News.
All the Chinese teachers at the varsity have again to China due to security concerns following the suicide assault on a van carrying Chinese instructors on the KU on April 26. The VC stated the procedure to lease a new crew would take 4 to six months.
He maintained that the school could hold coaching the Chinese language to its students and there was no plan to forestall the Chinese classes for excellent. Dr Lodi said a total of 11 teachers were teaching Chinese to the scholars of the NED University to put together them for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. He introduced that in the intervening time, the school could arrange online classes so that scholars should maintain gaining knowledge of Chinese.
